Book Signing
November 22, 2010 by Dave Willert (Register to contact)Hello fellow Tartans.
I have just published my second book, DIMENSIONS II: The Plethora. This is the sequel to my first effort, DIMENSIONS: The Wheat Field. These novels are fast paced and written in a constantly shifting combination of fantasy and reality. Throw in a little romance, spirituality, mystery and adventure, comedy, and you have got the gist of my books! I would like to invite everyone to come to my book signing for DIMENSIONS II: The Plethora at Borders in Brea on Saturday, December 11th at 2 PM. I would love to see you there. Once a Tartan, always a Tartan. Thanks, Dave Willert

January 2, 2010 by Dave Willert (Register to contact)Dave Willert’s “DIMENSIONS: The Wheat Field” Update
Many thanks to those of you who have already ordered a copy of Dave’s new book on Amazon or Barnes And Noble online. The discount remains in effect if you still wish to order it from either of them.
For a short time, Amazon and Barnes And Noble online bookstores will be discounting “DIMENSIONS: The Wheat Field” by 10%, meaning your price will now be $15.25 plus shipping instead of the regular $16.95 plus shipping. FYI standard shipping has been taking just under a week for the book to arrive.
The Book Signing is still on at Borders in Brea between Imperial and Associated. The date is Saturday, January 2nd from 2 to 3 PM. Books will be available for purchase at Borders on that day and beginning just as soon as Borders receives them from their distributor. In the meantime, have a wonderful holiday season with your families!
For those who missed it, here is a brief overview of the story:
Alan Dunkirk was a cocky young college graduate with a plan. Ten short years later, he found himself trapped inside his own mundane existence. One night, following an argument with his wife, Alan drove aimlessly away. Before long, his car mysteriously sat at the bottom of Lake Juniper, while he inexplicably found himself in the middle of a sprawling wheat field, in the body of a twelve-year-old boy. His wife, Mary, truly wanted to believe he was still alive, but there were other forces at work with much more to gain by his imminent demise. What ensues is both magical and illuminating. The Wheat Field is a race against time, a battle between good and evil, a natural blending of science and religion, but most of all a love story. The Wheat Field begins where logic leaves off and faith alone leads the way. If you have ever wondered about the connection between this life and the next, DIMENSIONS: The Wheat Field may just be your ticket to enlightenment. Contemporary Fantasy.
As you read this book, please enjoy the story, but don’t miss the message. Hmm..
